Saying “hello”

If you have logged in today, I am sure you noticed that the login page (and the page for guests visiting Tikatok) have changed a bit. After all, this is a site for and about kids, and we wanted to put that emphasis up front. We have also cleaned up the navigation for when you are not logged in, just as you suggested. Features that aren’t available until you log in are now neatly packed away. As usual, do let us know your thoughts about the changes.

Bonus Update: For those of you using Internet Explorer 6 (IE6), you should see some improvements in the rendering. We know that some of you still have to use it for various reasons, and we make every possible attempt to support this browser. Unfortunately, the cutting edge technologies used by Tikatok play along only haltingly with the 5-year old engine behind IE6. If you are using IE6 and you have the chance, do try out one of the newest, hottest browsers like Mozilla Firefox. The new generation of browsers are not only faster, but also far more immune to malware and viruses. It takes only a few moments, and once you have tried it, you may never go back!
